UK Commission on Pharmacy Professional Leadership

Dear David,
Thank you for your letter re: the newly formed UK Commission on Pharmacy Professional Leadership, dated 7th June. We, the GHP NOPC, are delighted to hear that a commission has been established to determine how pharmacy leadership can be strengthened across the 4 countries of the UK, and that you are working towards being inclusive across sectors and countries. We look forward to hearing more about how this will be achieved.
We hope that you will be able to share more information with us, when you have it, on how engagement with key stakeholders within and without the profession will be achieved, and we look forward to working with you and supporting you in this work, so that we can support our membership and the wider pharmacy workforce in achieving this vision.
We are also interested to learn more about the definition of leadership to be used by the commission, and if this reflects “collective leadership” as required by every pharmacy team professional, as well as team leadership and strategic vision.
