Unite members - Update details and queries

The Unite membership database is maintained by Membership Services, Unite, Hayes Court, West Common Road, Bromley BR2 7AU.

email
info@unitetheunion.com - please ask for confirmation of your request being actioned

There is a general enquiry form on the Contact Us section on the main Unite website

You can also register for the My Unite online service

Please quote your 8-figure membership number when contacting Membership Services. This number is quoted on postal mail from Unite and your membership card; current (Amicus) cards were distributed with the December 2004 edition of Amicus the magazine. Former MSF membership numbers are no longer recognised.

Each member has a job code which identifies the profession / field of work. For healthcare pharmacists there are two job codes; 65 [the vast majority of current members] and 68, both of which are assigned to the GHP section.

If you are a healthcare pharmacist but only ever receive general postal mail from Unite, such as the United magazine and ballot papers sent to all members of the union or health sector, your job code is either incorrect or missing - contact Membership Services as above. If your job code is correct you should receive the GHP annual report (distributed in the first few months of each calendar year), also you should have received the programme and registration form for the 6th Joint GHP / UKCPA Annual National Conference (14th - 16th May 2010) in an envelope showing your Unite 8-digit membership number on the address label.

If you are a paying Unite member but receive no postal mail at all, your address may be missing from the database; this is known to be the case for around 100 members in the GHP section. In other cases the address is incorrect, possibly old. Contact Membership Services as above, and also confirm that your job code is correct. Please ensure that you are actually paying membership fees to Unite by which ever means you have chosen; it is common for people to think they are [still] members but are not on the database.
