Leadership Development Group (LDG)

The development of this group is a joint venture between the GHP and UKCPA to raise the profile and highlight the importance of leadership in all areas of practice and at all levels.  This group aims to offer something for all levels of leadership, be that at an individual practice level, at a team level, an operational level or a strategic level.

The NHS Leadership Centre says that Leadership in the NHS is about having a vision for the future and working with and through others to achieve improved health and health services.

So it is clear that leadership is an important part of everything we do and is a key part to achieving excellence in practice.
