GHP / UKCPA Joint Information Technology Interest Group (ITIG)


The Information Technology Interest Group (ITIG) was formed to share ideas and innovation with NHS colleagues and provide a space to discuss and debate issues surrounding information technology and the role it plays in pharmacy practice.  It is a Guild of Healthcare Pharmacists and United Kingdom Clinical Pharmacy Association joint group .

  • Encouraging people to share ideas and how these ideas have been put into practice. 
  • Rewarding innovation and endeavour with an annual award.
  • To develop & communicate processes that can improve the development and implementation of hospital pharmacy IT systems on a national basis.
  • Running an annual seminar to bring people with similar interests together to encourage collaboration and networking.
