Unite Health B4 Profit campaign
NHS Together
Unite is conducting a campaign with other trade unions, coordinated by the TUC. All of the health sector of Unite is involved including the Guild. The other organisations involved include the British Medical Association, the Royal College of Nursing, the Royal College of Midwives and all the health unions affiliated to the TUC, coordinated under the name of NHS Together. Concerns are: Sudden budget cuts in some NHS Trusts are threatening staff and jobs
There has been too much top down change that has failed to involve or win the support of staff
The fragmentation of the NHS is hindering the ability of health professionals to provide the best possible patient care
