On-Call Survey



As you will be aware that the one part of NHS terms and conditions which still needs to be sorted out from Agenda for Change is on-call payments. One of the difficulties faced in resolving this is to understand the many, complex on-call arrangements currently in place, and how staff on them are paid.  This information is required to help to review the arrangements currently in use across Agenda for Change staff groups and to develop new, simpler and fairer arrangements.  Last year, the NHS Staff Council set up a partnership Working Group to look at this.  The group has developed a survey which will collect the required information from a sample of staff across the NHS in England.  The 3 devolved administrations have identified their organisations who will be participating in the data collection.

The 69 NHS organisations in England who have been sent out invitations in partnership to participate in the on-call data collection for the a 3 month period are shown in the list below.
